Installation method of ball valve for accumulator safety performance:
1. Remove the maintenance covers on both sides of the flange and clean the valve with it fully open.
2. Before installing ball valves with actuators, all industrial equipment tests should be carried out according to standard data signals (electric or pneumatic) (to avoid damage to application performance due to vibration during transportation). Installation can only proceed after the tests are passed (wiring should follow the electric actuator route map).
3. Before fully preparing to connect to the pipeline, it is necessary to remove and eliminate any residual residue in the clean pipeline (such substances are very likely to damage the valve seat and ball core).
4. During the installation period, please do not use the actuator part of the stainless steel plate hydraulic press accumulator as the lifting point of the lifting machinery to prevent damage to the actuator and parts.
5. This type of valve should be installed in the horizontal or vertical direction of the pipeline.
6. Pipes around the installation point should not be sagging or subjected to external forces. Water pipe fixing brackets or fulcrum columns can be used to eliminate pipe displacement.
7. After connecting to the pipeline, please use the required torque edge-type clamping to tighten the loose flange through-wall bolts.
II. Application areas of ball valves for safety performance in stainless steel plate accumulators :
Because ball valves generally use plastic, polyester fabric, and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) as the material for the valve seat sealing ring, the operating temperature of the accumulator is limited by the material of the valve seat sealing ring. The shut-off and operation of a ball valve relies on the metal composite ball being clamped between itself and the plastic valve seat under the influence of the compound (swivel ball valve). Under certain contact stress, the valve seat sealing ring undergoes elastic-plastic deformation in a certain area. This deformation compensates for the manufacturing precision and surface roughness of the ball, ensuring the sealing performance of the ball valve.

Furthermore, since the valve seat sealing ring of a ball valve is generally made of plastic, the flame retardancy and fire safety of the ball valve must be considered when selecting its structural features and performance. Companies in industries such as urban oil, chemical plants, and foundries, which use ball valves in equipment and pipeline systems containing flammable and explosive compounds, should pay even more attention to fire safety and fire prevention.
Generally, ball valves are recommended for systems with dual-position adjustment, stringent sealing requirements, cement mortar, damage, narrowing channels, rapid opening and closing (1/4 turn), high pressure cutoff (due to large pressure differentials), low noise, cavitation and vaporization conditions, minor gas leakage, low operating torque, and low liquid resistance.
Ball valves can also be used in lightweight construction, low-voltage shut-off (small pressure differential), and corrosive chemical systems. They are also used in cryogenic (water electrolysis for hydrogen production) equipment and pipeline systems. In industrial oxygen supply systems, ball valves requiring stringent acid removal treatment are necessary. When the mains line in oil and gas pipelines needs to be laid underground, fully welded ball valves are required. When adjustable performance is required, ball valves with a special V-shaped opening are necessary. In crude oil, petrochemical equipment, chemical plants, power installations, and urban construction projects, ball valves with metal-coated aluminum alloy profiles and operating temperatures above 200 degrees Celsius can be used.
